1. Waikiki Beach
The crescent beach of Waikiki is the perfect place to learn to surf and is known as the birthplace of modern surfing. Waikiki beach is also one of the best places in Hawaii to try outrigger canoe paddling. At the end of your day, head to a beachfront bar for a sunset drink and the spectacular Waikiki sunset.

3. Waimaea Canyon State Park
Known as “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific”, Waimea Canyon is located on the south west side of Kaua’i. Stretching 22km long and over 1km deep, enjoy panoramic views of the deep valleys and rugged gorges from the lookouts.

4. Snorkelling & Diving
The crystal clear waters of Kealakekua Bay on the Island of Hawaii, Poipu Beach on Kaua’i and Hanauma Bay on O’ahu are a sanctuary for snorkelers. Hanauma Bay State Park is a great day trip from Waikiki. It is an easy shuttle ride from Waikiki. Snorkel off the pristine beaches or scuba diva around Maui’s reefs and see tropical fish, sea turtles and colourful coral.

5. Hana Highway
With 620 bends and 59 bridges, Maui’s Hana Highway is one of the world’s most scenic drives. The road leads you through rainforests, flowing waterfalls and picturesque seascapes. Make sure you stop off at Waiánapanapa State Park, Ho’okipa Lookout and Wailua Falls before you reach sleepy Hana Town.

6. Na Pali Coast
Journey to the North Shore of Kaua’I and witness the dramatic cliffs of the Na Pali Coast and the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Hike along the Kalalau Trail and take in the majestic green cliffs, cascading waterfalls and the deep, narrow valleys.

7. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Get a close up look at the world’s most active volcano in the 330,000 acre Hawaii National Park on the Island of Hawaii. Embark on one of the Many Hiking Trails and discover Fire Pits, a lava tube and an 11km crater rim.

8. Traditional Luau

Hike to the top of one of Waikiki’s most recognisable icons, Diamond Head. The 1.3km trek to the summit of the extinct volcano will five you stunning panoramic views of Waikiki and O’ahu south shore.

10. Haleakala National Park
Feel the power of nature at Haleakala National Park on Maui. Hike or drive to the summit of Haleakala, Maui’s highest peak. For a spectacular sight, wake up early and head to the Haleakala Visitor Centre to catch the sunrise.
